INTRODUCTION
The cooperative company Brasserie du Borinage, whose head office is established at 7300 Boussu, rue du calvaire 21, registered with the BCE [Belgian trades registry] under the number BE 0744.940.402, referred to hereafter as BdB, operates a website via www.brasserieduborinage.be (referred to hereafter as the “site”).
assar understands the importance of the protection of personal data.
Article I. Field of application
This present policy applies to BdB and all its staff involved with the processing of data, and includes guidelines to which all data processing must comply.

assar has appointed a manager, assisted by a team, responsible for ensuring implementation, and adherence to legislation concerning data protection, and to this present policy.

Article III. The collection of personal data
The legislation concerning data protection sets out a number of basic principles that all those responsible for processing data must adhere to, in order to comply with this legislation. Article IV. Transfer of personal data
In certain cases, assar may transmit your data to third party recipients (I.T, service provider, hosting provider, staff), both within assar and outside the organisation. In all cases, the data are transmitted to these recipients only, who will process them for specific purposes. During the transfer, assar will always adopt the necessary security measures in order to ensure the preservation of confidentiality and integrity of the data.
Article V. Duration of conservation of personal data
BdB will not conserve your data for longer than is necessary for the specific purpose for which they have been collected. At the end of the conservation period, assar will delete the data, or anonymise them, if it still wishes to use them for statistical purposes. assar may conserve the data for a longer period for the purposes of the management of disputes, study, or archiving.
Article VI. Rights of individuals concerned
Data protection legislation provides, for the individuals concerned, various rights in respect of the processing of personal data, so that the individuals concerned can continue to exercise a sufficient level of control over the processing of their personal data.
Right of access
You have the right to obtain confirmation by assar that your data are being, or have been processed. If so, you are entitled to request access to these data.
assar will provide you with a free copy of your processed data upon request. If you wish to receive additional copies, assar may require reimbursement of reasonable costs for this.
Right of correction
If you find that the data held by assar are inaccurate or incomplete, you are entitled at any time to notify this fact, so that assar may take the necessary steps to correct, or complete these data. The individual concerned is responsible for supplying the correct data to BdB.
The right to be forgotten
You may request deletion of your data if their processing is not compliant with the legislation concerning data protection and subject to the limitations of the law.
Right to limit processing
You may request the limitation of processing of your data, for example, while they are being verified.
Right to portability
You are entitled to receive your data in a commonly used and readable structured format.
Right of opposition
You can also oppose the full processing of your data, or a specific situation that concerns you. assar will cease processing unless it demonstrates that there are legitimate, and pressing reasons for the processing, that take precedence over your interests, or that relate to the exercise or justification of legal proceedings.
The right to withdraw consent
If you have given your consent to assar for a specific processing purpose, you can also withdraw this consent at any time.
Article VII. Procedure concerning the exercise of rights and other provisions
You can exercise your rights by sending an email to the address echope@brasserieduborinage.be and enclosing with your request a copy of a current ID document (identity card, passport, or driving licence). In principle, assar will act upon you request within a period of 1 month. Otherwise, assar will inform you of the reasons for the lack of action or delay in following up on your request.
